While electronic medical records (EMRs) provide important clinical context, they often lack granular, real-time data on seizure frequency and medication adherence. This prospective study leverages the Helpilepsy app—a validated commercial seizure tracking tool—to collect detailed, patient-reported data on daily seizure activity and medication intake.
Our goal is to identify patterns and improve understanding of optimal treatment combinations. Ongoing efforts focus on integrating these data with additional sources, including EMRs, patient registry questionnaires, and potential use of wearable devices.
